In week 8 of Term 3, we hosted ‘Service Week’. All 30 classrooms in our school were encouraged to create a service project that the entire class could participate in, aiming to be more helpful and show kindness or empathy without the need for a reward.
From car washing, to shoe polishing, to blanket making to rubbish pick-ups, there was a special buzz around school as so many students were involved in performing good deeds.
