Thirty students and five staff from Remuera Intermediate recently returned from a successful ten-day school exchange to their sister school, Befu Elementary, in Fukuoka, Japan. The trip offered a rich cultural experience and was filled with memorable activities.

During their stay, the group immersed themselves in local culture, enjoying traditional Japanese food and making new friends. Highlights of the trip included visiting a theme park and exploring the city.

Despite the challenging heat, students and staff showed great perseverance, making the trip a huge success. The school is proud of everyone who participated and is thrilled with the positive impact the exchange had on the students.
