Year 8 Girls Football

The Year 8 girls football team headed into the competition at Seymour Park on Thursday May 26th with a fierce determination to win.

Their excellent teamwork and use of skills resulted in them winning their first few games and placing first in their pool in the morning.

Later that day, due to a draw with another team, they went into an incredibly tough penalty shootout.

Overall the girls played strategically and with a wonderful attitude, placing 3rd overall! They have made RI extremely proud.
