Sign Language Week

In celebration of Sign Language Week, Room 5 students did small skits in New Zealand Sign Language.

Andrew Lim and JS Chen started their dialogue by greeting each other.
JS then asked when Andrew was taking the bus home.
Andrew replied by saying, “At three’’.
JS then asked, “Could we go together?’’
Next, Andrew told JS, “Yes, I’ll meet you after school”.
Lastly, they said goodbye to each other.

For Sign Language Week, we learnt some of the basic signs such as ‘Hello’, ‘How are you?’ and ‘What is your name?’
After learning different phrases and sentences, we used our skills to script a conversation in New Zealand Sign Language.
