Central Zones Badminton

On Wednesday November 11th, Miss Steele and Miss Sellon had the pleasure taking a group of 19 badminton players to Central Zones at the Auckland Badminton Centre.

Each year group consisted of 2 singles players and 1 doubles pair. We took 3 reserves who dedicated their time to scorekeeping games, which was much appreciated.

From the very start of the day RI dominated with fantastic play and excellent sportsmanship. We were really impressed with the students' resilience when things didn’t go their way.

Miss Steele and I were extremely proud to be out watching such respectful and talented players representing R.I.
