Central Zones Boys Hockey

This year the Boys Hockey Central Zone competition was incredibly successful. The Year 7 and 8 team were very hard to beat and came out on top in their pool which put them in the semi-final. This was a tight game against Ponsonby, but the boys fought their way through and made their way into the Grand Final! The intense play off for first and second was looking even until the final few minutes when the other team scored. We ended up in second place in the comp, but because the winning team were playing with a mixed team, our boys were officially granted the position of competing at the Interzone competition. A very happy RI Hockey team at the end of the day!
